Is the Maldives open to holiday makers despite coronavirus?
The Maldives remains a very safe destination for holiday-makers with all arrivals screened for symptoms of Covid-19 at the airport. Our resorts are stand-alone properties, on isolated islands, where all entry into and exit from the resorts are managed and monitored by the resort. The health of our guests is of utmost importance to us, and all our resorts have a medical clinic with an on-site doctor.
Are there any travel restrictions to the Maldives due to coronavirus?
There are no travel restrictions. However, a COVID-19 negative PCR test result with a sample taken 96 hours prior to departure to Maldives, counting from the first port of embarkation en-route to the Maldives, is required.

HOW DO I GET TO THE MALDIVES?
The best way to get to the Maldives is by air travel. A number of flights, both scheduled and charter operate to the Maldives. The main airport is "Velana International Airport (MLE)".

Please note that considering the additional time needed for passing through immigration, collecting luggage, check-in for the domestic flight, traveling and some waiting in between it will take few hours’ time to reach the resort from moment your international flight lands in the Maldives.

How do i get to the resort from airport?
Upon arrival to the Maldives, after clearing the immigration procedures and collecting your luggage, you will find our airport representative counter No. 16 right in front of the arrival hall.
